Turkish Wind Energy Association (TUREB)
Turkish Wind Energy Association has founded by in accordance with the cabinet decree no. 92/ 2752 in 10 February 1992. It has founded to follow scientifical, technical and applied researchs about wind energy, to expand the usage of the wind energy without any profit making purpose.
Turkish Wind Energy Association is working in a coordinated manner with general directorate of renewable energy , Turkey Electricity Transmission Company, General Directorate of Energy Affairs and Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to be able to add the potential of the wind into turkish economy.
Turkish Wind Energy Association is the member of the European Wind Energy Association and Global Wind Energy Association. Turkish Wind Energy Association is the biggest non governmental organization about wind energy in the Turkey.
